Shailee was a featured participant in the ‘Garden of Literary Delights’ or GOLD, an annual event curated by the Kabir Cultural Centre in Montreal since 2021. This event celebrates the work of Canadian writers of South Asian origin through readings, panel discussions, and more. Shailee showcased her recently published graphic novel, My Story, My Voice: Sita and Helen, and was joined on the panel by other esteemed Canadian writers like Farzana Doctor, Angela Misri, and Zahida Rahemtulla.
